Ilkeston 6th form partnership | High Quality Education on Your Doorstep
The Ilkeston Sixth Form is a partnership between four Ilkeston Schools and South East Derbyshire College. From 2008, we will be able to extend our curriculum offer and provide state of the art facilities for Ilkeston students with the addition of an exciting new build, on the Lakeside site at Kirk Hallam Community Technology College.
Our aim is to maximise student choice and provide quality courses which are both academic and vocational. The Partnership Sixth Form draws on the experience of the existing staff from all the schools and colleges in Ilkeston. The Partnership Sixth Form will no longer remain on one site. Each additional site will offer subjects that reflect their specialist subjects and/or facilities.
We listen and respond carefully, to student opinion and we have a successful track record of working together. Each partner institution has its own identity and culture. Students will benefit from the resources on all of the sites. All students will benefit from a supportive tutor and an exciting enrichment programme.
